Commerce City, CO ...connectivity and quality for a metro community The GreenWay Team prepared Commerce City’s Prairieways Plan which was cited in GIS for Landscape Architects (Esri Press, 1999). The Team developed an interconnected system of parks, trails and open space, while maintaining and enhancing the quality of life for current and future residents. This plan incorporates guiding principles and planning standards for parks, trails, and open space. The study area covers 43 square miles north of the Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge and west of Denver International Airport. It fits within a larger regional and metro-wide trail and open space system
